More perks. Easier access. Trek.fm is made possible by our listeners. For quite some time now we've been looking at ways to better deliver perks and exclusive content to you. We've finally found the solution, and it’s called Patron Zone. But what does that mean? In this episode of Hyperchannel, Trek.fm Executive Producer Norm Lao and Content Manager Will Nguyen (who happen to both have quarters aboard the NX-01), join me to talk about why they first decided to support the network, how they became so involved in what we’re doing, and how we can all take ownership of our fandom. We also give you a rundown of what our new perks system is and what it means for you. Links Host Guests Production |

Farewell Leonard Nimoy. He inspired generations of fans to pursue science and to take a level-headed approach to life. But on February 27, Leonard Nimoy succumbed to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 83. The loss of the man who was Spock, who defined Star Trek, and who played an important role in the lives of so many is being felt around the world. We take a moment to reflect on Leonard Nimoy’s contributions and why he made a difference.
